We’re doing
well with the new kitchen, we’re in full swing. By the
way, we’re looking for new menu suggestions and new menu
ideas. Next time you’re out and about, swing on down to
29 Dreams and fill out a suggestion card. If your idea’s
selected, you could with some prizes and possibly have a menu
selection named in your honor. Remember, this is your
club, help us build it your way!
The website’s
crashed, but we’re working on it. Internet reservations
are coming on strong too. But for now, we’re taking them
the original way, via telephone or email with the assistance
of Betty! Hopefully you’ll be able to make your own
reservations on the internet shortly. Hang in there with
us, we’re working to that end.
The Courtyard
improvements are coming right along. We’ve install the
lighting and we’re in the process of installing some water
misters that claim to keep the Alabama summertime weather 30
degrees cooler. We’ll be able to test them first
hand this year.
We’ve installed a new Ping Pong table,
and two new dart boards. We’ve also gone on ahead and
installed another horse shoe pit. This brings us on up
to two now. We’re thinking a horseshoe tossing
tournament is in order before the beautiful Alabama
summer heat just flat out takes us over. So ping pong,
darts, or lets toss some horse shoes around when you get a
chance tournament sign-up is starting now. Sign up for a
three week tournament of ping pong, horse shoes, or darts, and
take a chance to win some pretty cool prizes, including $100
gift cards, $50 gift cards, free oil change gift cards, and

Membership
Renewals. The 2008 membership renewals are being sent out
now. Look for the little post card with your membership
number on it and return it to us before you forget. It’s
nice to have that chore, out of the way! We’re currently
issuing membership numbers in the 29K range. Have
you seen anyone selling a low membership number on eBay yet?
We’re planning something special for membership numbers under
1000. What’s yours?
We’d also like
to say thank you to our AMA Superbike members that came out to
visit during the races at Barbers. Thank you for another
great year of fun, no, thanks for a perfect year, we’re
already looking forward to next year. The parks changing
for the better, it’s looking good and we’re making progress
with our construction. With all the rain of late the
parks looking green again. Summer time is here, we’ll
see you this weekend!
